And this does not only apply to seasonal events like Halloween, or when seasons are turned upside down, like when Christmas has a little fright added to it. Your scare-offering may be temporary, seasonal, or open year-round; only imagination limits how far you can go beyond the ordinary.

If you want to get started or get better at mastering fearful fun for your attraction, we invite you to join us at The Scary Seminar at Liseberg in Gothenburg, Sweden. We have put together a two-day program that will take you through all the aspects of mastering fearful fun from ideation through design and implementation to operation. Along the way, you will learn how to choose your genre and theme, design and deliver different kinds of scares and overall become better at the business of making things go BOO!

The Scary Seminar balances theory and practice as you work with the principles and methods we present, inspired by new insights and cases, and explore the environment that surrounds us at Liseberg, including Grand Curiosa Hotel and Gasten Ghost Hotel. We encourage everyone to bring their own ideas and projects, giving you a head start in making fearful fun work for you!
